Specialist Marine Services Pte Ltd (SMS) is based in Singapore and was established in March 2010 by Steve Matthews MNI to provide Marine expertise to the Shipping and Offshore Oil and Gas Industries, mainly in China, India, SE Asia and Australasia.



In addition to Brokerage and Marine Surveying, SMS offer Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering services through our close association with other specialised companies. Our diverse base enables us to deliver from small Standalone Surveys and valuations to complete Project Management Systems.



SMS are registered for IMCA CMID & OCIMF OVID Inspections. In house, we have dedicated cost engineers who can assist at all levels of project FEED studies to give added value to client cost proposals. Our success is attributable to our 'hands on' approach and the added value of the combined experience of our associates and contacts in all aspects of Marine Projects.  At the centre of this is a practical and innovative approach to developing robust solutions tailored specifically to our client’s individual requirements.
